Closed For The Season & Will Open Up In The Spring
Our other two locations are open all year round.
The Twin Cities have something in common with each other, and it’s pretty sweet! The Grand Ole Creamery would be just the thing. With 35 years in the business of retail ice cream, we were one of the first parlors in St. Paul to manufacture and serve the super-premium ice cream people know and love us for today. In addition to our extensive range of ice cream flavors, people enjoy the famously sweet smell of our hand-rolled, homemade, malted waffle cones, with a whopper in the bottom of each cone. Visit us today and be sure to give us a call to ask about hours and more!
After our successes in St. Paul, we now have a Minneapolis location near Lake Nokomis of Cedar Ave. With ice creams that make for the perfect way to cool off, our daily line of beachgoers is quite long. But don’t be intimidated by this long line, because it moves quite fast with its eager ice cream eaters. Those who wait can easily strike up a conversation with a friendly stranger while contemplating which of our 24 ice cream flavors they’d like. These flavor offerings often change as we have more than 200 flavors that rotate regularly. So visit us as often as you can to try them all! These flavors aren’t your typical ice cream flavors either … we’ve got options like “Black Hills Gold,” “Cotton Candy,” and the delicious “Sweet Cream.”
At Grand Ole Creamery, we offer more than 200 unique ice cream flavors. They change daily, so come every week during the hot months of summer!
Our ice cream is so delightful that it managed to bring President Obama to our parlor! In addition to serving the 44th President of the United States, many other awards have been bestowed upon The Grand Ole Creamery. We’re considered by Saveur Magazine to be among the Top Twelve Ice Cream Stops in the Nation. And MSN.com has featured us as one of the top 10 ice cream stores in the USA. We’re pretty proud of these accomplishments!
